2013-06 FFGC STD cardLasting Effects: Gardening for
the Future
6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 3
Want to leave a smaller, more planet-friendly footprint in your garden? Jeff Meilander, founder of the Flagstaff EcoRanch in Baderville, will talk about the work he and others are doing at EcoRanch to create “practical sustainability” in growing food. He’ll also talk about gardening in Baderville and the permaculture techniques the farm uses ~ and how we can apply these techniques to our own gardens. Jeff has an MA in science teaching and a BS in secondary life science education. Joining him will be a WWOOFer or two to explain how that volunteer organic farming program works.
